BYD ATTO 2 RHD: the compact starting point
The BYD ATTO 2 RHD is a sensible model to shortlist when purchase budget and manageable size come first. Its compact SUV layout suits daily commuting, customer visits and family use without moving into the price bracket of larger premium SUVs.
For specification context, BYD's Hong Kong ATTO 2 lists 410 km NEDC range, while BYD's published ATTO 2 brochure lists a 51.13 kWh battery. These are market-specific reference figures; the supplied Premium version will be identified in the final specification sheet. Do not substitute specifications from the ATTO 2 DM-i plug-in hybrid for the battery-electric model discussed here.
For dealers, ATTO 2 can form the lower-budget end of a showroom shortlist. Request exterior, cabin and right-hand-drive cockpit images of the exact offered version, together with its battery, charging and equipment sheet.
BYD ATTO 3 RHD: a balanced family choice
The BYD ATTO 3 RHD is worth considering when a customer wants a conventional five-seat electric SUV with more family emphasis than a compact entry model. Compare rear-seat space, luggage room and the actual equipment package during selection.
BYD's Australian extended-range ATTO 3 specification lists a 60.48 kWh Blade Battery, front-wheel drive and 420 km WLTP combined range. The same reference lists 480 km under NEDC. These two numbers describe different test cycles; 480 km should not be advertised as WLTP range.
Our indicative Superior sourcing price is a starting reference. The written quotation should confirm its battery and range standard, model year and charging specification. For a three-vehicle shipment, ATTO 3 is also a useful model to discuss when planning a 40HQ container.
HYPTEC HT RHD: move up in cabin space and comfort
HYPTEC HT RHD, also known as Hyper HT, gives buyers another route into a larger electric SUV. It belongs on the shortlist when passenger comfort and a spacious cabin matter more than the smallest purchase price.
The USD 30,000 reference above relates to the RHD 670 Elite sourcing version. Its battery capacity, range test cycle and equipment must be supplied in the version-specific quotation. A number in a trim name should never be treated as a guaranteed real-world driving distance.
There are different overseas HT specifications. For example, GAC Hong Kong publishes an 83 kWh battery and 620 km NEDC range for its local HT lineup. Those figures must not automatically be attached to a different 670 Elite offer. We will provide the matching English specification sheet for the vehicle quoted.
Ask for the exact door configuration as well. Photographs of an HT with gull-wing rear doors illustrate that configuration; they do not mean every HT grade includes those doors.
BYD SEALION 7 RHD: the performance upgrade
BYD SEALION 7 RHD AWD is an upgrade option for customers who want stronger performance and a sportier SUV profile. It can sit above ATTO 3 in a dealer selection without requiring the buyer to move to a large luxury plug-in hybrid.
Battery capacity and range vary by market and grade. BYD has published an 82.56 kWh SEALION 7 for South Africa, while other markets offer a larger 91.3 kWh top-grade version. The AWD quotation must identify which battery and equipment package is being supplied. We will provide the matching specification sheet rather than combine figures from different versions.
Charging and daily use in Tanzania
A dependable place to charge at home or at work should be part of the purchase plan. Compare the vehicle's usable daily range with your normal routes, allowing for speed, air conditioning, passenger load and charging frequency.
WLTP, NEDC and CLTC results are laboratory measurements, not guaranteed road distances. Compare like-for-like standards wherever possible. Battery size alone also does not tell you charging speed: AC onboard charger rating and DC charging capability are separate specifications.
The export quotation will identify the charging standard, AC and DC ratings, and supplied charging equipment for the exact vehicle. This makes the charging arrangement clear before shipment.
FCA Nansha and shipping to Dar es Salaam
Our FCA Nansha quotation covers vehicle preparation, domestic transport to the agreed terminal and assistance with vehicle release and loading arrangements. Container stuffing, terminal handling, international freight and marine insurance are for the buyer's account. The precise delivery point and included charges will be itemised in the quotation.
We can coordinate shipping to Dar es Salaam or cooperate with your nominated freight forwarder in China. A previous planning reference for a 40HQ container was approximately USD 6,500. It is not a live freight offer: a fresh quotation will confirm the sailing, validity, included charges and estimated transit time. Insurance is quoted separately unless expressly included.
As a planning example, three ATTO 3 vehicles at the indicative USD 24,000 FCA reference total USD 72,000. Adding the previous USD 6,500 container freight reference gives USD 78,500 before insurance, stuffing, terminal handling, destination charges and Tanzanian taxes. This is a budgeting illustration, not a CIF or final landed-cost quotation.
ATTO 3 and SEALION 7 can each be discussed on a three-unit-per-40HQ planning basis, subject to the final loading plan. Mixed-model shipments require a separate space and securing assessment. Current sailing availability and transit estimates are provided with the shipping quote.
Payment, production and shipment evidence
Our standard payment terms are T/T: 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment. Made-to-order RHD vehicles normally require approximately 6–8 weeks for production; shipping time is additional. Ask us directly about current stock, because stock status and colours change.
Once the vehicles are ready, we provide VIN details and inspection videos for confirmation. Loading photographs are supplied as part of the shipment record. Independent pre-shipment inspection can also be arranged when requested, with its scope and fees agreed in advance.
The shipment documentation package normally includes the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin and applicable export documentation. Any destination-specific inspection or certification requirements should be listed when requesting the quote so the required documents can be agreed before shipment.
After-sales support for Tanzanian buyers
Vehicles supplied through our independent export channel do not include an official manufacturer's warranty in Tanzania. Our support includes remote technical guidance, assistance sourcing original spare parts and remote diagnostic coordination where available. Local maintenance and repairs should be arranged with a workshop experienced in Chinese new-energy vehicles.
